Ice Cream Robot
An old ice cream scooping robot created for my Modeling and Texturing I final project! This was my first time UV unwrapping and texturing something with this many components and I learned a TON throughout the whole process. Textures were painted in Substance Painter.
Subdivided Toy Truck
A toy truck I got to model for my Modeling and Texturing I class. Had a lot of fun learning how to work through the stages from proxy modeling all the way to creating something subdivided.
Change of Speed Spline Pass
An assignment from my Animation 2 class that unfortunately got cut short due to having to finish the semester in lockdown last spring. We were tasked with animating a change of speed from a character moving from slow to fast (or vice versa) and then coming to a stop, and I really enjoyed the process of filming reference footage to use and then blocking all the poses out in Maya!
Sneeze Animation
A sneeze animation exercise completed from my Animation 2 class! Figuring out the timing for a convincing sneeze was an interesting challenge.
Weight Shift Animation
Another exercise from my Animation 2 class where we were tasked with animating a simple character shifting weight from one leg to another. I expressed mine with a wide, sneaking step.
Walk and Pose Assignments
A short character walk cycle I animated for class and some of my favorite model pose assignments from my animation classes. I've always enjoyed blocking out dynamic poses in Maya!
Jump Animation
A jumping animation exercise completed for my Animation 2 class! Figuring out the squash and stretch for this was interesting to tweak throughout the assignment.
